I don’t think I’m a good teacher, or someone you should take example of, because I tend to do whatever I feel like doing, and it’s never the same way, or the same process. But I’ll try to save the steps on the next illustration if you’re interested =)

It really depends, it can go from a few hours to a year ;) .

More seriously I could spend hours and hours polishing something I’m not happy with, so I try to restrain and stop when the essential is there. I wish I could be more effective though. But I tend to work better and faster when I have a close deadline :D

Both in fact, I have a hard time smoothing everything perfectly, so I mix hard and soft edges brushes when colouring. And on top of the picture I usually add a texture, it blends the colours together, and give that little grainy effect I like =)
